TRANSPORT

ARRIVAL AIRPORT?

The nearest airport is the SOUTH AIRPORT, REINA SOFIA de Tenerife. We make daily transfers from the bus station of “costa adeje” in “Playa de las americas” You should take a taxi or bus to here and we will pick you up there to take to the surf center or surf camp From 09.00 to 21.00

in case your plane arrives at the NORTH AIRPORT. On your confirmation email you will find information about how to get there (bus station costa Adeje)by bus to the south or by rental car. In the contact section you can find the links and information contact.

AIRPORT PICK-UP SCHEDULE

The schedule of transfers to the South airport is from 9:00 a.m. to 21.00, outside these schedules the client must take a taxi, the taxis from the surf house are reserved by the staff.

LOCATION OF SURF HOUSE?

The surf house is located in the marazul-wildcat area 10-15 mins drive from playa de las americas, the tourist area of southern Tenerife. Taxis and buses are available from the surf house.

We recommend to rent a car to be more free out of the surf school schedule.

TRANSPORTATION TO THE BEACH?

The transport from the surf house to the beach is included in all the packs of surf. The transport is for the surf lessons, and is not a private transport. It’s going to the surf center in the morning session and back in the afternoon evening from the surf center to the surf camp.

There is buses and taxis from the surf house. Bus 473 direct to playa de las americas Taxi cost around 15€ to playa de las americas.

SOUTH AIRPORT PICK UP

We don’t pick up directly from the airport. If you arrive to the South airport you must take a taxi or bus to the Bus station “costa Adeje” you will find all the information on the email confirmation with your booking.

NORTH AIRPORT ARRIVAL

We do not pick up at the north airport, so if your flight arrives at the north airport of los rodeos-la laguna you have the option of taking a direct bus (343) to the bus station “costa adeje” in playa de las americas where you We will pick you up to take you to the surf house. All this information you can find it on the email confirmation when you finish the booking process. Remember that the airport transfer times are from 09.00 to 21.00

Food

What food is included?

Breakfast is included in all the surf packs. We have different options on it for all the people.Open Until 11.00

Lunch is at the beach in playa de las americas, you can find different restaurants bar and supermarkets around.

Dinner is at the surf house and you can use the free kitchen shared to make your own dinner.

We have a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals alone or with the group like a bbq.

Near the surf school in playa de las americas you have a supermarket to do your shopping everyday.

The arrival day we will take you to the supermarket to access you to your first shopping.

SURF CLASSES

WHERE DO THE CLASSES TAKE PLACE?

The classes are taught in the famous surf spot playa de las americas, the best surf spot in tenerife for surfing, where our surf center is located. www.blackstonesurfcenter.com

We have different spots for beginners and intermediate surfers in a short walking distance.

SURF LEVELS AND GROUPS?

We have two levels normally divided, beginners, standing and control of the table and intermediate level learning already to take walls of the waves and to be managed in both directions of the wave. The groups are of 6 students per instructor also depending on the conditions and level of the participants.

CAN I SURF ON ARRIVAL DAY AND DEPARTURE DAY?

If your flight schedules allow and the class schedules also, you can incorporate the same day of your arrival to your first surf class. Surf packs do not deducted prices if your flights times doesn’t fit with the surf class on the arrival day or departure day.

DURATION AND INCLUDING SURF LESSONS?

The surf camp packs of the surf camp include blackstone pack 2 daily surf classes or activitiy ( if the conditions are not good for surfing) of 2 hours each class, including theory and practice.

Economic pack includes 1 lesson per day or activity if the conditions are not good for surfing) of 2 hours each class, including theory and practice.

Yoga & surf pack includes 1 lesson per day or activity ( if the conditions are not good for surfing) of 2 hours each class, including theory and practice and 1 yoga session per day (monday to friday)

All the material is included in the surf classes as well.

The service of the surf center in playa de las americas of showers and lockers is available throughout your stay.

CLASS SCHEDULES AND PLANNING OF THE DAY?

These are the schedules normally of the weekly planing, depending on the conditions of the tides and the waves can be modified something. Classes begin at 9:30 in the morning, lunch 13:30, second class 16:00, school pick up for surf house about 18:30,

LEVELS AND AGE OF THE PARTICIPANTS IN SURF CAMP?

The average age is 20 to 30 years old, it is an adult camp but exceptions are made with young people over 16 years old with parental permission. The level: 90% of participants in the surf camp are beginners or intermediate, with some or no experience in surfing.

HOW ARE THE CONDITIONS OF WAVES?

We have waves all year round thanks to the privileged location we get swell from northwest and south so we have waves to teach surfing all year round. The season d such consistency and larger size of waves is from October to may.

CAMP OPENS ALL YEAR ROUND?

We open every day of the year and teach classes every day of the week.

ARE THESE CLASSES EVERY DAY?

We open every day of the year and we give classes every day of the week including Saturdays and Sundays.

TEMPERATURE AND CONDITIONS OF WAVES?

The canaries are characterized by having a mild temperature all year round, in winter (December to March April) the daily temperature is 23º by the day and 15º by night, in summer the temperature can be more than 30º by the day and 23º at night. The waves: By our location we have waves of south and northwest all year, the season with easy waves is from May to September and of bigger and consistent waves from September to March.

ACTIVITIES

EXCURSIONS OR EXCURSIONS ON THE ISLAND?

Tenerife offers all kinds of excursions in the sea or in the mountains, we have collaboration with other companies for excursions of sighting of whales and dolphins or diving. Reservations are made 24 hours in advance and has an extra cost. If you want to visit the island it is advisable to rent a car, we recommend you on our website, in the contact section, our best quality car rental company.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDED IN SURF PACKS?

The weekly activities that we do in the surf camp are, snorkel and technique with skate for surfing. They are carried out when the tide is not favorable for the practice of surfing and lasts half a day. If the conditions of waves is not good or the weather is not safe.

YOGA CLASSES?

There are packs with yoga included but there is possibility to hire yoga other than your pack, the price per session is € 25 or € 125€ 5 sessions, classes are from Monday to Friday and can be divided between 5 people each class.
